About the role:

JBS is currently in the process of developing the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling capabilities across the Australian business.  To achieve this, we are looking for energetic and motivated maintenance professionals who like to be challenged but get reward in being able to ultimately make a difference. 


About you:

  • Demonstrated experience using SAP Plant Maintenance is essential
  • Mechanical trade qualification highly regarded
  • Minimum of 2 years planning / Scheduling experience
  • High levels of computer literacy including Excel, Word, and Project
  • Experience in food manufacturing will be highly regarded
  • High level of attention to detail & process
  • Contractor management experience
  • Stress-resistant and able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines


Planning & Scheduling is ensuring the right work is done at the right time, with the required parts, labour, tools, external services to allow the execution team to perform activities in the most efficient way possible. 


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and presentation of weekly maintenance schedules
  • Engaging external vendors to perform maintenance works when required
  • Identify & communication of improvement opportunities
  • Control and report on routine maintenance expenditure
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability
  • Active participation in master data improvement activities
  • Managing work orders and maintenance documentation
  • Coach site uses in basic SAP PM functionality
