The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Brisbane port and employs approximately 140 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re-loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.

About the Role

The JBS Cold Store Facility is currently recruiting an experienced High Reach Forklift Driver to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Cold Stores Manager, this opportunity is ideal for anyone wanting to progress their career within a global organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safe and efficient operation of a forklift
• Positively contributing to a zero harm safety culture
• Ensuring product integrity is maintained
• Checking and verification of paperwork
• Stock replenishment
• Order picking
• Loading and unloading containers
• Transferring product

About You

• Current Australian Forklift License (LF)
• Recent High Reach Forklift experience
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Attention to detail
• Sound numerical skills
• Physically fit (some manual labour is required)
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
• Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
• Flexibility with hours including availability to work overtime as required
