Assistant Accountant

About the Role:

An outstanding opportunity exists to join our team as an Assistant Accountant at our Hemmant operations, in Brisbane.

Skills & Experience

• Assist with the production of daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial information.
• Stock control completing the inventory reconciliations and codes maintenance.
• Ensuring various company polices are adhered to (A/P; A/R, Bank; Stock Control).
• Credit control functions following Group Credit policy and compliance requirements
• Ensure supplier statements are reconciled in a timely manner and liabilities accurately accounted for
• Support and assist site based administration/sales staff with day-to-day responsibilities, as required.
• Relevant tertiary study in Accounting/Commerce.
• Ability to start at 6 a.m. Monday to Friday.
